Genuine In‑Tank Fuel Pump Assembly for Toyota
This OEM‑grade in‑tank module keeps your Toyota’s EFI system supplied with steady pressure for quick starts, smooth idle, and strong acceleration. Built to factory specs, it delivers quiet operation, clean fuel flow, and long service life—perfect for daily driving or highway runs.
Why this part is needed
Modern engines need precise fuel pressure to mix correctly with air. This assembly maintains stable flow under all loads—cold mornings, hot traffic, hills, or passing. Proper pressure protects injectors and keeps emissions low.
How it works
An electric motor drives a turbine/impeller inside the tank. Fuel passes through a fine strainer, then a built‑in regulator and check valve hold target pressure and stop drain‑back. The ECU primes the pump on key‑on, and a relay feeds 12V while the engine runs.
What happens if it’s failing
Expect long cranking, hesitation, flat spots, loss of power on climbs, stalling at idle, lean codes, or a loud whine from the tank. In a full failure, the engine will crank but not start. Running low on fuel can overheat the motor and shorten its life.
Pro install tips
- Replace tank seal/O‑ring and strainer with the module
- Inspect connectors, ground, and fuel lines
- Clean tank of debris; avoid reusing a clogged filter
- Verify pressure with a gauge after install
