Information

Upper Radiator Hose – Direct-Fit Cooling Line for Nissan ️

This molded, OEM-grade coolant hose links the engine outlet to the radiator inlet, routing hot fluid forward for fast heat shedding. Its job is simple but critical: keep engine temperature stable, protect gaskets and sensors, and maintain reliable performance mile after mile. Built from heat- and ozone-resistant EPDM, it holds shape through tight bends and resists collapse under pump suction and highway vibration.

Why you need it ❄️

Age, heat cycles, and coolant chemistry slowly weaken rubber. If your current hose feels spongy, shows cracks, bulges near the clamp, or leaves pink/green crust, it’s time to replace. Fresh hose prevents surprise overheating and saves costly engine repairs.

How it works

When the thermostat opens, the water pump pushes hot coolant from the engine through this upper line into the radiator. After cooling, fluid returns by the lower hose. Molded ribs and correct inner diameter keep flow steady; barbed necks and clamps provide a tight, leak-free seal.

If it fails ♨️

Expect sudden coolant loss, rising temp gauge, steam, sweet odor, and possible limp mode. Continuing to drive risks warped heads and a blown gasket. Stop, cool down, and repair immediately.

Install tips

Work on a cold engine. Drain enough coolant, swap hose, fit new clamps, refill 50/50 mix, bleed air, and recheck after a heat cycle.
