Engine Coolant Thermostat Assembly for Nissan Coupes ️

Keep your Nissan running at the right temperature with this OEM-grade cooling thermostat. It manages coolant flow between engine and radiator, delivering quick warm-up, stable operating heat, and reliable performance in all seasons. A healthy thermostat protects power, fuel economy, and the life of the engine.

Why this part is needed

The thermostat maintains ideal engine temperature for clean combustion, strong acceleration, proper cabin heat, and reduced wear. It prevents cold running and overheating, both harmful to seals, oil, and gaskets.

How it works

Inside is a wax pellet that expands at a set temperature. When cold, the valve stays closed to speed warm-up. As the engine heats, the pellet expands, the spring-loaded valve opens, and coolant flows to the radiator. Precision seating and an O-ring ensure no leaks and steady temperature control.

What happens if it breaks ⚠️

Stuck open: slow warm-up, weak heater, poor MPG, code P0128. Stuck closed: rapid overheating, boiling coolant, possible head gasket or warped head. Intermittent operation causes fluctuating temperature and rough running.

Install tips ️

Replace the seal, orient correctly, torque evenly, refill with the specified coolant, and bleed air. Verify fan operation and check for leaks after a short test drive.
