This cooling fan is a key helper for keeping engine temperature stable in traffic, hot weather, and during slow driving. When natural airflow through the radiator is not enough, this unit forces air across the radiator fins to pull heat out fast. That protects the engine, inverter cooling loop (on hybrids),hoses, and coolant from overheating.

Modern engines and electrified drivetrains run tight temperature limits. A healthy fan keeps coolant temps under control, supports A/C condenser cooling, and helps prevent heat soak after shutdown.
How It Works βοΈ
The fan motor spins the blades based on signals from temperature sensors and the ECU. It can switch on in stages, especially when the A/C is engaged, keeping airflow consistent even when the vehicle is standing still.
