Why this part is needed
This exhaust end-piece controls sound, stabilizes backpressure, and guards the bumper from heat. It smooths gas flow at the tail end so your car stays refined, passes noise checks, and keeps lowβrpm torque. OEM-style geometry keeps the note deep but civil, perfect for daily driving .
How it works
Inside the housing is a perforated tube with tuned chambers. Exhaust pulses enter, expand, and are redirected, cutting drone and metallic hiss. The design keeps flow laminar at the tip, helping the main muffler do its job while avoiding power loss. Stainless-friendly construction resists rust, and the flange or clamp joint seals gases and prevents singsong vibrations .

Expect loud rasp, cabin drone at cruise, rattles on bumps, sooty tail, and sometimes melted bumper trim. Backpressure swings can trim low-end torque and increase fuel smell at idle. A loose insert may buzz, and a bad seal can pop on decel. Replace to restore quiet ride, correct flow, and long muffler life.
