Intake ManifoldβHead Seal for Toyota Engines
This OEMβgrade intake manifold gasket restores an airβtight joint between the intake manifold and the cylinder head. It prevents unmetered air from entering the engine, stabilizes the airβfuel ratio, keeps idle smooth, improves throttle response, and protects fuel economy and emissions.
Why this part is needed
The engine management system expects sealed intake runners. Any leak forces the ECU to chase trims, causing rough idle, hesitation, hard starts, and higher emissions. Replacing a tired seal is a small job that prevents bigger repairs.

A heatβresistant elastomer profile compresses between machined surfaces when the manifold is torqued. It fills microβgaps, resists fuel vapors and oil mist, and survives constant heat cycles without shrinking. Proper clamping keeps vacuum steady across all cylinders.
When it fails
Expect hissing, lean codes (e.g., P0171), MIL on, rough idle, misfires, loss of lowβend torque, poor MPG, and sooty ports. Prolonged leaks can overheat valves. Always install on clean, flat surfaces and torque in sequenceβno extra sealant unless specified.
