Why it’s needed
Combustion needs clean, metered air. Road dust, sand, pollen, and soot act like sandpaper. The filter traps these particles before they reach the engine, protecting piston rings and turbo bearings while keeping fuel economy and emissions in check.
How it works
Pleated high-surface media with a rigid frame creates a large dust-holding area with low restriction. A molded gasket prevents bypass. As air passes through microfibers, particles down to about 10 microns are captured, maintaining accurate MAF readings and smooth boost control.
If it’s damaged or clogged
