Engine Air Filter Element for Subaru

Keep your Subaru breathing clean and strong. This OEM‑grade intake filter blocks dust, sand, soot, and pollen before they reach the engine. Precise fit seals tight in the air box, giving stable airflow, correct fuel trims, and long engine life. Built with multi‑layer media and a firm frame, it resists collapse in high flow and heat.

Why you need it

Clean air is fuel’s partner. A fresh filter protects cylinders, valves, turbo (if equipped), and the MAF sensor. It helps maintain power, smooth idle, and low fuel use.

How it works ️

Outside air passes through deep pleats of cellulose/synthetic fibers. The layers trap particles while keeping airflow high. A molded gasket stops bypass leaks, and rigid edges keep shape under load.

When it’s bad or broken ⚠️

Clogged or torn media lets dirt score cylinders, foul the MAF, trigger check‑engine lights, cut power, and raise consumption. You may see rough idle, intake hiss, or blackened filter folds.

Replacement tips

Change every 12–15k miles (sooner in dust). Seat evenly in the air box, check the perimeter seal, and close clips evenly. Do not wash or blow out with high pressureβ€”replace.
