Engine Oil Feed Line for VVT-i Lubrication
This precision oil tube supplies pressurized lubricant from the pump to the variable valve timing unit. Itβs critical for fast cam phasing, quiet starts, and long engine life. A solid metal construction resists heat and vibration better than older rubber/metal hoses, preventing sudden oil loss.
Why you need it οΈ
Without a healthy feed line, VVT-i canβt receive stable oil pressure. That means lazy throttle response, poor fuel economy, and extra wear. Replacing a tired hose with a rigid tube restores correct flow and protects the top end.
How it works
On start-up, the pump sends oil through this line, across banjo fittings and crush washers, into the cam phaser gallery. The tube must hold high pressure and temperature while keeping a clean, leak-free path.
