Heavy‑Duty Crankshaft Damper Pulley for Toyota SUVs & Trucks

This OEM‑grade crankshaft pulley (harmonic balancer) anchors the accessory drive and protects your engine from twisting forces. It’s precision‑balanced, uses a bonded rubber isolator, and delivers true belt tracking for long belt life and quiet operation.

Why this part is needed

It keeps the alternator, water pump, power steering, and A/C running at correct speed while absorbing torsional vibration from each combustion event. That reduces wear on bearings, timing components, and mounts.

How it works

The inner hub locks to the crank nose via keyway/bolt. The outer belt ring is connected through an elastomer layer. As the crank twists, the elastomer flexes and cancels vibration, keeping the drive smooth and the engine stable.

What happens if it’s broken

Expect belt squeal, pulley wobble, charging warning, overheating, heavy steering, harsh vibration, and rattling. If the rubber ring separates, belts can jump off. Severe failure may damage the front seal or crank snout. Replace immediately. ⚠️
