Engine Rocker/Valve Cover Assembly ️
This top cover seals the cylinder head, keeps engine oil inside, and guides crankcase gases to the PCV system. It protects camshafts and valvetrain from dust and moisture, and its integrated baffles control oil splash for clean combustion and stable idle.
How It Works
The cover bolts to the head with a molded gasket and grommets. Baffles and PCV ports manage vapor flow, while the gasket creates an oil-tight, vacuum-stable joint. Correct clamping prevents warping and keeps oil away from spark plug wells.
Why You Need It ✅
Age, heat, and vibration cause cracks, warped flanges, and hard gaskets. Replacing the assembly restores sealing, cures oil leaks, and stabilizes idle quality.
What Happens If It Fails ⚠️

Tech Tips
Use a new gasket and grommets, add RTV only at factory corners, clean mating surfaces, reconnect PCV hoses, and torque bolts in sequence to factory spec.
