Engine Intake Valve (OE-Grade Replacement) ⚙️
This precision intake valve is a key internal engine part that controls how fresh air (and the air-fuel mix) enters the combustion chamber. It is needed to keep cylinder filling correct, maintain stable idle, and support full power under load. A healthy intake valve also helps the ECU keep emissions within spec.
How It Works ?
The valve moves up and down inside the cylinder head, guided by the valve guide and sealed by the valve stem seal. The camshaft opens it at the right moment, and the valve spring snaps it shut to seal the chamber. Its face must sit perfectly on the valve seat to hold compression and transfer heat away from the valve head.
When This Part Fails ?
If the valve is bent, burnt, pitted, or sticks in the guide, you may get misfire, rough idle, loss of power, hard starting, backfire through the intake, and low compression on one cylinder. Continued driving can damage the valve seat, piston, and catalytic converter from unburnt fuel.
