Engine Inlet Water Pipe / Coolant Inlet Connector
This cooling-system inlet piece feeds coolant into the engine water jacket so heat can be carried away fast. It is needed to keep the engine at a stable working temperature, protect the head gasket, and prevent overheating during heavy load or hot weather.
How it works
Coolant leaves the radiator, passes through hoses, then enters the engine through this inlet connector. Its shaped passage and sealing surfaces guide flow and keep pressure sealed. When the thermostat opens, coolant circulation increases, and this part helps maintain a smooth, leak-free route.
What if it’s damaged ⚠️
A cracked body or worn sealing area can cause coolant leaks, air in the system, weak heater performance, and rising temperature. If ignored, overheating may warp the cylinder head, damage the water pump, or lead to coolant loss and engine shutdown.
