Engine Head Cover Gasket Kit for Reliable Oil Sealing ?οΈ
This sealing kit is used between the cylinder head and the valve/rocker cover to stop engine oil leaks and keep crankcase pressure under control. It is a small part with a big job: protecting your ignition coils, belts, and engine bay from oil mist and messy seepage.
Why This Part Is Needed β
Heat cycles, vibration, and oil exposure slowly flatten and harden the gasket material. Once it loses elasticity, it canβt clamp and seal correctly. Replacing it restores a tight seal and helps maintain a clean, stable-running engine.
How It Works βοΈ
The gasket sits in the cover groove and compresses when the cover bolts are tightened to specification. That controlled compression creates a barrier against oil splash from the valvetrain while also sealing around corners and bolt areas where leaks often start.
What Happens If Itβs Broken ?
A damaged or brittle gasket can cause oil leaks onto the exhaust (burnt-oil smell), misfires from oil-contaminated plugs/coils, low oil level over time, and sludge buildup around the top of the engine. Ignoring it can turn a simple reseal into costly repairs.
