Engine Ventilation Valve (PCV) for Toyota engines
This OE-grade ventilation valve manages crankcase gases so your engine breathes correctly. It keeps vacuum stable, routes blowβby fumes back to the intake, and reduces oil sludge. Perfect for drivers who want smooth idle, clean emissions, and longer oil life .
Why you need it
Combustion creates blowβby gases that leak past piston rings. Without a controlled path out, pressure builds, seals weep, and oil turns dirty fast. This valve meters flow to protect gaskets, turbo (if fitted), and catalytic converter.
How it works
Inside is a springβloaded pintle that opens with manifold vacuum at idle/cruise and modulates under load. It prevents backfire from entering the crankcase and maintains the correct vacuum in the sump for efficient lubrication βοΈ.
Signs itβs faulty
