High‑Precision Engine Piston with Wrist Pin for Nissan Powertrains

This OEM‑spec piston assembly restores factory compression and smooth power delivery. Built from heat‑treated aluminum alloy with a matched wrist (gudgeon) pin, it keeps the combustion chamber sealed, manages heat, and guides the connecting rod for reliable torque. Ideal for rebuilds or fixing low compression, oil burning, or knocking issues.

Why this component is needed ✅

The piston seals the cylinder via compression and oil rings, turning combustion pressure into crank rotation. Correct skirt profile and pin fit reduce friction, cut noise, and protect the bore under heavy load and high temperature.

How it works

During the power stroke, gas pressure drives the crown down. The wrist pin links piston to connecting rod, transmitting force to the crank. Ring pack controls blow‑by and oil, while skirt coatings stabilize motion and reduce scuffing.

What happens if it fails ⚠️

Expect hard starts, loss of power, blue smoke, high oil use, blow‑by, piston slap, and metal debris in oil. Prolonged use can score the cylinder, overheat the rod, and lead to catastrophic seizure.

Installer notes

Measure bore, hone as needed, set ring end‑gaps, lube pin and clips, and balance by cylinder for best results.
