Engine Crankshaft Main Bearing (OEM Fit)

This precision engine bearing supports the crankshaft inside the block, keeping it perfectly aligned while it spins at high RPM. It is needed to hold a stable oil film between the crank journal and the engine block saddle, reducing friction and heat. Without this part in good condition, the crankshaft cannot run true, and the whole bottom end suffers.

How It Works

The bearing shell sits in the engine block and cap, forming a smooth surface around the crank journal. Pressurized oil flows through oil holes and grooves, creating a protective β€œhydrodynamic” layer that lets metal avoid metal contact. This keeps rotation smooth, quiet, and efficient βœ….
