Information

Balance Shaft Drive Chain for Mitsubishi Engines βš™οΈ

This precision engine chain keeps the balance shaft system turning in correct time with the crankshaft. It is needed to reduce engine vibration, protect internal parts, and keep the motor running smooth at idle and under load. A good chain is important for long engine life, quiet operation, and stable performance.

How It Works ?

The chain runs inside the engine and links the crank drive to the balancer shaft gear. As the crankshaft rotates, the chain moves the balance shafts at the correct speed and position. This cancels unwanted engine shake caused by piston movement, especially in 4-cylinder engines.

Signs of a Bad Chain ⚠️

If this chain stretches, jumps, or breaks, the engine may rattle, vibrate strongly, lose smoothness, or show timing-related fault codes. In serious cases, broken chain parts can damage guides, sprockets, oil pump area, or other internal engine components. Replacement during engine service helps prevent costly repairs.
