Engine Crankshaft Main Bearing Set ?️
This precision bearing supports the crankshaft inside the engine block, keeping rotation smooth and perfectly aligned under heavy load. It is needed to maintain correct oil clearance and to prevent metal-to-metal contact when the engine is running at idle or high RPM.
How it works ⚙️
The bearing shells sit between the crankshaft journal and the block cap. Once oil pressure builds, a thin oil film forms and the crankshaft “floats” on lubrication. This reduces friction, controls heat, and helps the engine hold stable oil pressure for long service life.
