Rear Disc Brake Hardware Kit — quiet, safe, consistent stopping ️

This OEM-grade rear brake hardware set replaces tired clips, springs, and guide boots that secure the pads on the caliper bracket. It keeps pads centered, reduces rattle, and lets the caliper slide freely for even, confident braking .

Why you need it

Hardware lives in heat, water, and road salt. Over time it corrodes or loses tension. Fresh clips restore correct pad clearance, stop noise, and prevent tapered wear. New boots seal grease on guide pins, protecting them from dust and rust.

How it works

Stainless pad clips support the pad ears and act as low-friction rails. Anti-rattle springs preload the pads so they don’t vibrate. Rubber guide boots keep lubricant on the pins, allowing the caliper to move smoothly and apply equal pressure to both pads.

If the hardware is worn or broken ⚠️

Expect squeal/clunk, uneven pad wear, hot spots, pull while braking, longer stopping distance, and possible rotor warping. Torn boots lead to seized pins and rapid pad glazing or drag, increasing fuel use.

Tech tips ️

Replace hardware at every pad change. Clean the bracket channels, install clips fully seated, and use thin high‑temp silicone or ceramic grease on pad ears and pins. Torque slide pins to spec and bed the pads.
