Front CV Joint Boot Kit β Inboard & Outboard, Left or Right
Keep your front drive shaft protected and quiet with this complete CV boot kit βοΈ. It seals the constant velocity joint, holding highβmoly grease in and keeping water, dust, and road grit out. The flexible bellows design follows steering and suspension movement without cracking, ensuring long service life.
Why you need it
A torn boot quickly throws out grease and lets contaminants in. Replacing the boot early is far cheaper than buying a whole axle. This kit is built for both inner and outer joints, either side, for a precise, factoryβstyle fit.
How it works
The boot clamps to the shaft and joint housing with stainless bands, maintaining a tight seal at high RPM and angles. Fresh grease forms a protective film on balls and races, reducing friction and heat .
If the boot is damaged
Expect clicking on turns, vibration on acceleration, greasy splash inside the wheel, possible ABS contamination, and even joint seizure or shaft failure β οΈ. It can also foul brake parts and cut stopping power.
Tech notes
- Pack joint with supplied grease (approx. 80β100 g)
- Seat boot on grooves; crimp ear clamps firmly
- Remove trapped air to avoid ballooning
