Front Axle Intermediate Drive Shaft ⚙️

Why this part is needed

It equalizes left/right driveshaft lengths, stabilizes the CV geometry, and supports the load between gearbox and outer axle. That means better durability, less shudder under throttle, and longer life for joints and seals.

How it works

A heat-treated steel shaft with precision splines couples to the differential on one side and to the right CV axle on the other. A sealed support bearing bolts to the engine block, keeping the shaft centered. Dynamic balancing reduces NVH, while surface coating resists corrosion.

What happens if it’s faulty ⚠️

• Vibration or shudder on acceleration
• Clunk/click noises, especially on load changes
• Grease seep or torn bearing seal
• Pulling/torque steer; possible fluid leak at trans seal
• Severe cases: loss of drive to right wheel
