Why this part is needed

The mount links the engine to the body subframe, holding the powertrain at the right height and angle. It protects axles, exhaust flex, and hoses from stress, and prevents shake at idle or during shifts.

How it works

A bonded rubber (or fluid-damped) core is fixed between metal brackets. Under load, the elastomer works in shear and compression to absorb vibration and control engine roll. Void geometry is tuned for transverse layouts, giving firm support on launch and soft isolation at idle.
