Why you need it

This unit drives airflow for heat, A/C, and fast defogging. It pushes air through the heater core or evaporator so vents deliver strong, even air at the chosen speed. A healthy blower improves comfort, clears the windshield quickly, and keeps the climate system efficient in every season. ❄️🔥

How it works

A 12V motor spins a balanced squirrel‑cage fan. The climate panel and resistor/transistor pack regulate current to set speed. Mounted behind the glovebox, it pulls air through the cabin filter and feeds ducts to the windshield, face, and floor. Quality bearings and a balanced impeller keep noise low and airflow high.

What happens if it breaks

• No airflow or only high speed
• Weak vents, poor A/C or heat
• Squeal, grinding, or hot smell
• Blown fuses or melted resistor
