How it works

Inside, spring-loaded rockers close precise circuits on a printed board. Your press flips polarity to the window motor via the door harness and relays, driving up or down. Auto mode uses a detent plus internal logic to maintain current briefly for one-touch movement. The sealed housing resists dust and light moisture for long life.

What if it fails

Expect sticky inputs, no response, intermittent travel, blown auto function, or a window stuck open. Burnt or corroded contacts can cause motor strain or parasitic battery drain, and may compromise anti-pinch behavior—hurting comfort and safety.

Install tips
