Inner CV Joint Boot Kit ?️

This component is a protective rubber boot and clamp/grease set that seals the inner CV joint on the drive axle. It’s needed because the inner joint works under constant movement and load, and it must stay packed with clean grease to slide and articulate smoothly.

How It Works ⚙️

The boot flexes as the suspension moves and the axle changes angle. Inside, special high-moly grease lubricates the bearings and tracks, while the clamps keep a tight seal. The boot’s job is simple but critical: keep grease in, and keep water, sand, and road salt out.

What Happens If It’s Damaged ?

A cracked or loose boot will leak grease, then dirt gets pulled into the joint. You may notice clicking/knocking on takeoff, vibration under load, or grease splatter around the chassis. If ignored, the inner CV joint can wear fast, overheat, and fail—often requiring a full axle replacement instead of a simple boot service.
