Rear Right Disc Brake Caliper for Toyota SUVs ️

This OE-fit hydraulic unit mounts on the rear axle, right-hand side, to clamp the disc with consistent force. It restores straight, confident stops, smooth pedal feel, and stable ABS/VSC behavior. Built from precision-cast alloy with anti-corrosion finish, it includes a machined piston, fresh pressure seal, dust boot, slide pin boots, and a new bleed screw for long, quiet service on-road or off-road.

Why you need it

A tired or seized caliper cannot press pads evenly. Replacing it brings back full braking torque, even pad wear, cooler operation, and predictable stopping distance in daily driving and towing.

How it works

Hydraulic pressure from the master cylinder pushes the piston forward, squeezing inner and outer pads against the rotor. The floating design slides on guide pins so both pads share the load. The square-cut seal retracts the piston slightly when you release the pedal; dust boots keep grit out; the banjo seat seals the brake hose connection.

If it fails ⚠️

Watch for pull to one side, hot wheel, rapid or uneven pad wear, fluid leaks, spongy pedal, vibration, burning smell, longer stops, or ABS lights. Driving on a bad caliper can cook pads, warp the rotor, and reduce braking power.

Tech tips βœ…

Flush brake fluid, use new copper washers on the hose, torque fasteners to spec, lube slide pins with high-temp grease, bed-in new pads, and bleed the system thoroughly.
