How It Works ?

An electric motor spins an internal impeller, pushing fuel through a pickup strainer and into the outlet line. The module helps maintain pressure under load and supports consistent flow during hot restarts, hills, and highway pulls. Fuel passing through the unit also helps cool and lubricate the pump motor.

A weak or worn pump can cause long cranking, hesitation, surging, misfires, and loss of power at higher RPM. In severe cases the engine may stall and not restart. Running a failing pump too long can overwork injectors and strain the fuel system, leading to costly downtime.
