This mounting bracket is a small but critical support piece that holds the fan pulley in correct alignment on the front of the engine. It is needed to keep the cooling system stable, reduce belt vibration, and maintain proper belt tracking at all RPM. A solid bracket means the pulley stays true, the belt runs straight, and the engine fan can move air efficiently through the radiator.

How It Works ⚙️

The bracket bolts to the engine front assembly and provides a rigid base for the fan pulley hardware. By keeping the pulley position fixed, it ensures the drive belt maintains correct tension and grip. This helps transfer engine rotation smoothly to the fan system, preventing wobble and premature belt wear.

When the Bracket Is Damaged ❌

If the bracket cracks, bends, or loosens, the pulley can sit out of line. Common results include belt squeal, rapid belt fraying, pulley wobble, and extra load on bearings.
