Toyo Tire - Rubber Co., Ltd
Toyo Company was founded in Osaka in August 1945. Its name can be translated from Japanese as "Eastern Ocean". Toyo-branded automotive products are various, but company is best known as a manufacturer of tires. They were developed in cooperation with the Japanese automaker Mitsubishi Corporation, which still owns 7% of Toyo Tire - Rubber Co., Ltd.
At the moment, almost all cars made in Japan are equipped with Toyo-branded tires, and products are present in more than 80 countries. Corporation pays attention not only to the production process, but also to marketing, and consumer services. Today it is one of the largest tire manufacturers in the world.
In 1966 the first factory outside the country opened. It is located in Cypress, California. For the past seven years, Toyo tires have been recognized as the most sold in America. Products of this brand are widely represented in Russia.
