MAHLE GmbH
Brand Knecht was founded
by Adolf Knecht in the late XIX century. First filters were produced in 1929. In 1977, the brand
was acquired by MAHLE GmbH, and in 1992 in Spain was founded Knecht
Filterwerke SL. After that company's leaders decided to set up two joint
ventures with companies in Mexico
and India.
Nowadays the brand still manufactures filters and is owned by MAHLE GmbH.
Knecht products are characterized by the highest quality and are
environmentally safe. Filters are made on enterprises, geographically located
not only in Europe but also in Thailand,
the U.S., Korea, Japan,
Brazil and Philippines.
