The company Glyco was
found in the late XIX century, in 1897. In just 40 years, in 1937, the company
was one of the largest suppliers of bearings in Germany. By 1974 Glyco had the
deserved title of one of Europe's leading
manufacturers and suppliers of bearings. In 1982, the factories of the company
successfully implemented a program for obtaining and using a special
multi-layer composite material. At the end of XX century, in 1990, the company
Federal Mogul Corp took the charge of Glyco. According to official data, the
bearings of this brand are already installed on more than ten million engines
worldwide.
