Why you need it ️

Fresh damping improves grip on wet and dry roads, reduces stopping distance, and prevents uneven tire wear. It also quiets knocks and rattles, protecting bushings, mounts, and bearings.

How it works

Inside the sealed tube, a gas-charged damper moves oil through precision valves as the piston travels. The spring seats on the body, while the top mount and bearing allow smooth steering. Left-hand geometry and brackets align with the knuckle and brake hose.

What happens if it fails

Leaking oil, nose dive, body roll, steering wander, and cupped tires. ABS/ESC can react late, stopping distance grows, and suspension parts wear faster. Ignoring it risks loss of control on bumps or during sharp maneuvers.

Tech tips

Replace in axle pairs, torque with wheels on the ground, and align the car after install. Reuse of worn mounts or bolts is not recommended.
