This precision hydraulic unit balances rear brake pressure according to vehicle load. It keeps your Toyota 4x4 steady under braking, prevents rear wheel lock on an empty rig, and delivers stronger, safer stops when you’re carrying gear or towing. The result is stable tracking, even pad/shoe wear, and predictable pedal feel on and off road.

How it works ⚙️

Mounted to the frame and linked to the rear axle by a lever and spring, the valve “reads” ride height. As the axle squats with load, an internal spool shifts, adjusting the pressure curve to the rear circuit. Under light load it limits rear pressure; under heavy load it allows more, matching grip to weight. OE‑style ports, corrosion‑resistant body, and precise metering keep the brake bias in the sweet spot.

What happens if it’s faulty

• Rear wheels lock early on light braking, especially in the wet
• Long stopping distance when loaded or towing
• Nose‑dive, unstable tail, ABS activating too soon
• Uneven rear shoe/pad wear; fluid seepage at the valve
• Spongy pedal from internal bypass or stuck spool
