Why you need it

Stable temperature means longer engine life, consistent power, reliable A/C and heat, and clean combustion. The unit coordinates pumps, valves, and fans so every circuit gets the right flow at the right time.

How it works

A microcontroller reads coolant temp, ambient temp, A/C pressure, and load signals via CAN. It then commands the electric pump, electronic thermostats, diverter valves, and condenser/radiator fans. It can prioritize rapid engine warm-up, cabin comfort, or battery cooling, routing coolant through heat exchangers with precision.

If it’s faulty

Watch for overheating, weak cabin heat or A/C, fans running constantly, rough cold starts, high fuel use, and warning lights/limp mode. Ignoring it risks head gasket damage, warped head, turbo wear, or inverter/battery stress.

Tech tips

Install with clean connectors, correct coolant spec, and a proper bleed. After fitting, perform adaptation and clear DTCs with a scan tool. Firmware update may be required.
