How it works

What happens if it’s broken

Symptoms include flicker, no low or high beam, stuck beam height, AFS/leveling warning, or battery drain after shutdown. DTC codes may store, and the system may default to a safe but weak pattern—dangerous in rain or at speed. ⚠️

Tech notes

Disconnect battery, match connectors and mounting, check grounds, then run zero-point/leveling calibration if required. Some trims need a brief configuration with a scan tool.
