Why you need it

Engine bays generate heat and resonance. This liner lowers cabin noise, stabilizes hood temperature, and adds a safety layer with flame‑retardant material. It also helps prevent paint discoloration, reduces vibration, and improves refinement on long trips or towing.

How it works

A multi‑layer felt/foam core with a protective skin is clipped to the inner hood frame. The dense fibers absorb sound waves, while the skin reflects radiant heat away from the outer panel. Correct clip spacing keeps the pad flat, ensuring even thermal shielding and quiet operation.
