How It Works 🚗

Inside the housing is a heated element and a precise temperature circuit. As air passes, it cools the element. The sensor changes voltage based on airflow. What Happens If It Fails ⚠️

Common signs include hard starts, rough idle, flat spots on acceleration, high fuel use ⛽, black smoke, and a Check Engine Light (P0100–P0104 range). In limp mode, power drops and the transmission may shift harshly. Prolonged driving can foul plugs, clog the catalytic converter, and stress the turbo or EGR system.

Tech Tips

Install with the arrow facing airflow, seal the O-ring, and never touch the sensing wire. Use MAF-safe cleaner only. Clear codes and reset fuel trims after fitting.
