Auxiliary Coolant Pump for BMW V8/V12 and Hybrid Models ?

This OE-grade electric helper pump keeps coolant moving through the turbochargers and heater circuit when the main belt pump can’t, especially at idle, during after-run, and in hybrid start/stop. It lowers hot spots, protects head gaskets and turbos, and keeps cabin heat steady on cold days.

Why you need it ❄️

High-output BMW engines build heat fast. This pump stabilizes temperature, prevents heat soak after shutdown, and supports interior heating and battery thermal control on hybrid versions.

How it works ⚙️

A brushless motor and precision impeller push coolant through the auxiliary loop on DME command (PWM control). Sealed connectors and high-temp bearings deliver quiet, reliable flow.

If it fails ?

Expect overheating at idle, poor cabin heat, turbo heat soak, boiling noises after key-off, fault codes, or leaks/whine from the pump. Prolonged failure risks warped heads and turbo damage.
